The focus at UNKWN is to provide an all-inclusive business specific to the process of creating a record for performing artists and songwriters and leveraging the rights to their creations to serve the needs of the artist and to realize their aspirations and ours. With a unique understanding of the music industry’s expansive digital environment and a proven track record of finding and developing young artists and producers, UNKWN is the formal incorporation of an already thriving business model. Utilizing existing assets under the UNKWN umbrella and leveraging the extensive network of the company’s founders gives UNKWN a springboard to thrive in the ultra-competitive music industry.

With an estimated 100,000 songs uploaded to digital streaming platforms (DSP’s) worldwide every day it’s harder than ever for true talent to get noticed. That’s where UNKWN comes in.

UNKWN will leverage our team’s ear for talent to identify up and coming performing artists and producers with superstar potential. We will offer the necessary resources for an artist to get the most out of a record and employ our leadership team’s established formula to accelerate the creative development of young artists. The company’s founders will leverage their extensive industry network to secure record contracts for the artists we sign. Every act associated with the UNKWN brand will be allowed the maximum possible creative freedom when cutting records to ensure that the artist’s identity will be respected and not lost.

Our team has had substantial success finding, grooming, and commercializing the talents of several producers on our roster. Haze thrived in 2022, creating five RIAA certified platinum records, six gold RIAA certified records and contributing to four billboard number one albums for artists such as Lil Baby, NBA Youngboy, Lil Durk, and Rod Wave to name a few. IAMTASH, the composer of What You Know Bout Love by Pop Smoke was in the top 10 of the top 100 hot producers list for 2021 and continues to make waves with his ear for samples.
